Component Detail
The G021 is a dynamic component nested within the G004 Utility Navigation that updates to reflect the logged in state of the user. It can, for example, change the text of “My Emerson Sign In” to “Hello, {UserName}” after the user has registered and signed in to the site.
Interactions
Unauthenticated State: On-click of this component drives the user to the MyEmerson Account Sign In/Registration page.
Authenticated State: This component dynamically updates to display the name of the user while logged in for a session at Emerson.com. On-click of the link text “Hello, {Username}” directs the user to their account homepage, and interaction with the link down-arrow “▼” expands the account menu dropdown featuring a handful of related quick links.
