For social media properties such as WeChat, which only operate on mobile devices through an installable app, the G011 Footer Social QR Modal offers the opportunity to add a QR code in the footer. The QR code bridges the user from the website to the app, enabling them to connect with Emerson or the relevant business unit on these external platforms.
Interactions
Scanning the QR code for existing platform users launches the associated app on their device to allow them to follow or interact with the related Emerson account.
Users without an existing social platform login will be directed to their device’s app store to download the app and register before being able to follow or connect with the Emerson account on that platform.
