G008B Left Primary Footer Navigation Content Block
The G008B Left Content Block is one of two subcomponents used to build the G008B Footer Primary Navigation.
Component Detail
The G008B Left Content Block is comprised of the website’s associated brand logo (reversed/black & white version), the brand tagline (including optional brand value message text), and optional promotional content such as a campaign banner or newsletter sign up CTA.
The website’s corresponding G010B social media link icons are also intended to display within this grouping, above the promo block if present. However, site authors can optionally choose to display the G010B in the neighboring G008B Right Content Block if that’s preferred or helps better balance between the two sections of the G008B Primary Footer Navigation groups (see the G010B for examples).
Interactions
If the G008B Left is configured to include the G010B Footer Social Links, these will link out the the corresponding external social platforms in a new tab on click.
If optional promotional content, such as a marketing campaign banner or newsletter sign-up CTA, is configured to display in the G008B Left, these should drive user’s to an internal site page in the same tab, or to external URL in a new tab as appropriate.
