G002 Main Navigation
An ingredient to creating the entire G001 Global Navigation for Emerson.com, the G002 Main Navigation represents the white navigation strip, which includes the G020 Logo, G003 or G003B Primary Navigation links, and optionally the G018 Global Search component, Account Sign-in (updated version) and G017 Mini Cart Menu where appropriate on Other Approved Sites.

An ingredient to creating the entire G001 Global Navigation for Emerson.com, the G002 Main Navigation represents the white navigation strip, which includes the logo, the two primary navigation links, the search monocle, account sign-in (updated design only) and cart icons. Combine G002 (and its subset component G003 or G003B) with G004 to create the intended design for the Emerson.com global navigation. Use G012-G015 to create your dropdown menus.
Interactions
On hover the two primary links will reveal additional menu options. On click the two primary navigation items may hyperlink to an internal page. On click the logo will take a user back to the home page. On click the search monocle will reveal a wide text input area and after three characters reveal type-ahead search results. On click the account icon will drive users to the Account Sign-in page. On click the cart icon reveals items in the cart for signed in users, or for non-signed in users the opportunity to Sign In, Register, or Go to Cart.
