G001B Global Header Navigation (ComRes/OAS)
This component represents the experience available to content authors creating global navigations in the Commercial & Residential Solutions suite of approved sites or Other Approved Sites that may have different domain names but follow the same design patterns as Emerson.com.
While similar to the G001 for emerson.com in that it is composed of G002 and G004 navigation components, the G001B also has additional component parts that can be used to achieve the desired design (see details below).
**Note: The previous menu design examples (bottom) have been superseded by the updated menus (top). While these should be replaced over time with the updated style, they may still exist on some Other Approved Sites (OAS).
Component Detail
This component represents the experience available to content authors creating global navigations in the Commercial & Residential Solutions suite of approved sites or Other Approved Sites that may have different domain names but follow the same design patterns as Emerson.com. To achieve the intended design (as displayed above), authors must use G002 (with G003B) and G004 (optionally with G025) in order to assemble the correct collections to generate a G001B. The various components that are added to the G002 and G004 control how the G001B is styled overall for a particular site and differs from how the G001 is styled for Emerson.com.
**Note: In the updated design, the Account Sign In has moved from the Utility Nav to the Main Nav between the Search and Cart icons.
